I’m donating a basket for a silent auction for charity. The only thing I had donated was a bunch of bath products and some candles. I painted a box a really pretty pink/red pattern. I’ve also got $15 to buy something with. I’m thinking of getting a cheap pink tool set for a woman. What do you think I should get for the basket with the $15?
your ideas sound great - what are the chances of a man getting the gift? maybe put something for a guy in there, too - like shoe polish, or a nail care kit for guys, coffee gift card….

Redding California Loaves and Fishes is helping to alleviate our communities basic hunger needs; (homeless, low income poverty, and those with food shortages.) We support other emergency food banks, missions/ministries, and church charities. We will continue, with the blessing of The Holy Spirit, to cheerfully demonstrate in Redding and Shasta County the love and charity of Jesus Christ, for He is our provider.
At Redding California Loaves and Fishes we believe the world is not looking for a better sermon on Christian Love, but a better demonstration of it !
We are against practices and laws that unfairly single out homeless people and criminalize them for everyday living and life-sustaining activites.
Although frequently asked, we are not affiliated with Sacramento Loaves and Fishes. We believe they do a wonderfull job, and would love to see one started in Chico California.
Due to extreme unemployment, job losses, the housing market foreclosure disasters, bankruptcies and the financial economic crisis we are overburdened by the tremendous need here in Redding and Shasta County
We are calling out to the Christian Community for help…….
